PACE nurtures the educational, health, nutritional, social and cultural development of girls (and women) in the world's most impoverished regions.

Village support is essential for a school—especially for girls—to survive. PACE reaches out to the whole community offering adult literacy classes, vocational training, micro-lending, and life necessities like clean water, sanitation, and roads. This holistic approach is what makes PACE not just distinct but successful.

PACE’s girl-centered model serves as an archetype for poverty eradication throughout the world. Established in 2003, PACE's Piyali Learning Center is already changing the face of poverty in rural India and being replicated by organizations in other countries.

Through the generosity of PACE's supporters, schools are being constructed, girls are being educated, and communities are changing. Through partnerships with Rotary International, dedicated individuals are giving their time to provide oversight and leadership. This model has proven extremely successful and now needs further funding to grow.
